Good to know: Search Console data lags 2–3 days and uses Pacific Time dates. URL inspection shows the version in Google’s index, not a live test, and Google limits how many URLs a site can inspect per day.

FAQ

How do I connect Google Search Console to Claude?

Sign in at app.syncmetrics.io, click Connect Search Console and grant read-only access, then add the site(s) you want. In Claude, add https://mcp.syncmetrics.io/mcp as a custom connector and sign in with the same SyncMetrics account. Then ask about your organic search in your own words.

Does it work in ChatGPT as well as Claude?

Yes — add the same address, https://mcp.syncmetrics.io/mcp, in either one. Claude needs a plan that supports custom connectors. In ChatGPT on the web, Business, Enterprise and Edu get full access and Pro is read-only, which is all reporting needs; Plus and Free don’t offer custom connectors yet.

Is Search Console in Data Studio?

Not through SyncMetrics yet. During the beta, Search Console works in Claude and ChatGPT only. Our Data Studio connector covers Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn Ads.

What Search Console data can SyncMetrics read?

Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position by search query, page, country, device, search appearance and date, for web, image, video, news and Discover search. It can also check whether a URL is indexed (coverage, last crawl, canonical, robots.txt blocks, rich results) and list your submitted sitemaps with their errors and warnings.

Can SyncMetrics change anything in Search Console?

No. Search Console is read-only: SyncMetrics never adds sites, submits sitemaps or requests indexing, and it only reads the sites you add on your dashboard.

Why is it marked beta?

Search Console is open to every SyncMetrics account, but tool names and answers may still change while we refine it. Tell us on the support page if something looks off.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — Free forever, no card, with the last 30 days of data. Starter ($10/mo) and Pro ($25/mo) add full history; Google keeps about 16 months of Search Console data. See pricing.
